At Hillcrest, Middle School youth can experience God's love in real and relevant ways through Sunday morning student services at the Student Center as well as a variety of activities throughout the week. Each student has opportunities to connect with each other and learn more about their faith.
Who and What to Expect
You can expect to meet kids from different schools and areas. You'll see students in jeans, shorts, dresses, and sweatshirts. Come as you are! You'll meet our Youth Pastor and some great interns. Our hope is that you'll relax into a morning of worship songs, a biblical sermon, and learning more about God.
Sunday mornings we meet at the student center at 10:45am-12pm. We will all worship together, dividing for teaching upstairs with High school, and lower level with Middle school. We can't wait to see you all this morning! Our middle school ministry (grades 6-8) meets every Sunday at the Student Center for food, games, worship, teaching, and small groups.
Teaching Sunday Mornings:
SERIES: JESUS LOVES
A 4-WEEK SERIES ON JESUS
“Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so.” If you grew up going to church, it’s probably the first song about Jesus you can remember singing. “Jesus loves me” may seem like a pretty straightforward and foundational belief, but let’s be honest . . . singing about Jesus’ love is a lot easier than actually imitating it. In this series, you’ll be challenged to observe, imitate, and be transformed by the radical love of Jesus for all people, but specifically His love for the church, for the poor, for the stranger, and for the sinner.
March 24 – JESUS LOVES THE CHURCH
*We are heading to Freedom Covenant Church to worship. Freedom Covenant is our sister church in KC, MO where about 80-90% of their church is homeless. We leave from the Student Center at

SERIES: FAMILY FEUD
A 4-WEEK SERIES ON FAMILY
Every family feuds. Whether the latest feud is about curfews, chores, harsh words, someone’s attitude, or someone else’s questionable choices, everyone knows what it’s like to experience conflict with a family member. Although some families may have more struggles or conflict than others, every family can learn how to fight more fairly. In this series, you’ll challenge students to let their relationship with God transform their relationships with their family members as they seek to be more patient, forgive more often, be more honoring, and show love more freely.

May 5 - FORGIVE YOUR FAMILY
