NEW! Peacemaking in Polarizing Times: learn strategies for peace with co-workers, friends and family across the political divide. Christmas is right around the corner and there will be moments we won’t feel much peace on earth and goodwill toward all, especially considering the culture of contempt and polarization in our country right now. Rev. Steve Hickey, Ph.D. will lead a lively discussion of exploring God’s strategies to overcome all sorts of us vs. them animosities. One in six people lost a relationship with a friend or family member after the 2016 election and all of us felt the fury. Before 2019 is over, let’s learn how to not repeat 2016 in 2020.
NEW! Come, Holy Spirit. Throughout the ages, the church has found encouragement, intimacy and radical power that is released when we give earnest voice to the prayer, "Come, Holy Spirit....". In this four week class taught by Senior Pastor Randy Bohlender, we will explore the person of the Holy Spirit as described in the Old and New Testament, his work through both ages, and in the time in which we live. The Holy Spirit is present and willing to live out his unique role in the life of every believer. Come and discover how he speaks to and through us for the purpose of maturing the church and furthering the message of Jesus.
