Listening Ministry-training

There's a new outreach ministry being launched at Hillcrest & serving with people from other churches in the metro area well, that is a Listening ministry. 

It's about going into communities around the KC metro area and setting up listening spaces- and we engage people and show Jesus's love- just by listening to others. It's called Side Walk Talk KC-Metro.

There is a training set for people interested Saturday, August 30th from 11-1:30 at Hillcrest- lunch is provided. The training includes how to be empathetic and active listeners.
